Welcome to the Lane County Human Resource Association (LCHRA)

We are an affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management.  We have 200+ members representing over 150 employers in the Eugene-Springfield area. We are a SHRM 100% Chapter which means our local chapter members are also members of SHRM. Whether you are new to the HR field or have many years of experience, we are a local starting point for networking, information, professional development and continued support of excellence in Human Resources.

Click here to email our membership chair for information on joining our chapter, as well as national membership information. (Please DO NOT click the Sign In/Join Now button in the top right corner of this site; that is for website maintenance accounts.) We welcome your use of this site as a resource, and encourage you to check back frequently for updated information. We also encourage your involvement and suggestions about all of our activities, on the web and off.

We would like to recognize our local student chapter at the University of Oregon, SHRM Chapter # 5015. The University of Oregon Human Resource Association (UOHRA) has 15 recurring members and a lot of new interest. UOHRA is seeking volunteers to participate in one of their bi-weekly meetings. If you are interested in joining a resume panel workshop, presenting in an informational speaker panel, or being involved in the mentor/mentee program, please contact Chapter Directors Morgan Neptune or Jake Brenneman; uohrassociation@gmail.com. The student fee to become a SHRM member is just $35! Morgan and Jake can provide us with more information about joining UOHRA so we can be ready to help spread the word of encouragement to our future HR colleagues!

Visit our Meetings & Events page for information on our next Chapter Meeting. Also visit our Web Sponsors as they have generously assisted us in the ongoing maintenance of our website. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting or event!
